Project Manager

SNAP Interactive is looking for a talented Product Manager to coordinate the conceptual and technical development of our online dating and social networking products! We are looking for an enthusiastic, performance-driven self-starter and team player. This position is full time and based in our main office in New York City, NY. Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for managing product requirements, designs, delivery schedules, and for measuring product performance. Your responsibilities include:

Create, manage and execute product requirement documents that meet business objectives & goals.
Monitor key conversion metrics to support continual optimization of the product & business plan
Write specifications, prioritize features, build consensus and coordinate product schedules with our team of super-talented engineers
Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to ensure products satisfy customer needs
Understand SNAP’s strategic and competitive position, and work to define and deliver the best products which maintain, shape, and improve that position
Maximize efficiency in a constantly changing and growing environment where the process is fluid and creative and unique solutions are desired

Qualifications:

BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field A MUST
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
Exceptional technical abilities and ability to work with engineers
3-5 years of experience managing products and developing internet projects in a global, consumer web space
Must be able to graphically create wire-frames and write product specifications
Experience with A/B testing, web analytics, and product performance evaluation
Experience with 3rd party API integration
Demonstrated skills in gathering requirements, organizing resources, and schedule risk management
Passion for writing product specifications & creating fun, easy-to-use, and compelling user experiences
Understanding of social applications and media products, or the ability to quickly learn
Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the market
Previous start-up experience is a strong plus
Statistics background or strong skills in data analysis helpful

Requirements:

MUST BE LOCAL to NEW YORK CITY
Must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science
Previous experience building Facebook applications preferred but not required
Advanced programming skill level in PHP and MySQL
Previous startup experience and development in an Agile environment is preferred
2+ Years experience
